Dear Christian Friends,

Debbie and I would like to say thank you so very much for your love, faithful prayers, and financial support so far, this year. You are a major help to us, and we praise the Lord for you. By giving to our ministry, you have made it possible for us to travel and share the death, the burial, and the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ with those that know Him not, and share the Word of God with God's people that need to grow in Christ and live for Him.

We have seen many come to know the Lord as Saviour and have seen backsliders rededicate their lives to Christ. The Lord has blessed us much, and we are looking for even greater blessings as we continue in His work in 2017.

In January, we were with Pastor Gene Dame at Faith Promise Baptist Church in Franklin, Kentucky. Our four-day series of meetings were well-attended, and God’ people were faithful and responded well to the preach of His Word.

On Sunday, January 22, 2017, we were with Pastor Kevin Senn at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. We are excited in what the Lord is doing in this place, and we thank the Lord for the spiritual decisions that were made by several of God’s people during the meetings.

The folks at Liberty Baptist Church responded to God’s Word during the meetings with Pastor John Horner in Minier, Illinois. I had a great time with God’s people. We had good food and sweet fellowship together.

God blessed our time with Pastor Mark Swanson at Berean Baptist Church in Rockford, Illinois. I know some of the church members and enjoy tremendous Christian fellowship. The all-day Sunday meeting went well.

As you can read, the meetings have gone well, and God is at work. God’s people are making life-changing decisions. We had a teacher in one of the meetings make the following comment: “You have taught us how to worship the Lord more perfectly.” Praise the LORD!

Debbie has not been well for the past few days. Her key issues right now are her headaches/migraines and her ability to stay on her feet without feeling as though she is going to pass out. We thank all of you for your prayers.

We see folks responding to God’s Word as it is preached. Souls are coming to know Christ as their own personal Savior, and God’s people are making lifetime altering choices at the altar.

It has been a trying couple of weeks for which we praise our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! As some may know already, Debbie was in bad shape when I arrived home this time; so, we extended my stay an extra week. She is doing better now. My daughter and I worked on a plan… We have arranged for a group of ladies to help get Debbie back on her feet (physically, emotionally, and spiritually). The ladies will begin a Bible study with her that should help strengthen her walk with God. We are praying and looking forward to what GOD has in store for us in the next few months. Again, thank you for your prayers and concern.

God has been good to take care of our needs through Christian friends like you. Thank you for your financial gifts. The gifts are an immense help to us as we trust the Lord for everything.

I have been very busy helping Debbie with various projects on the home front. It was needful for me to travel back on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, to support her for three weeks in Riverview, Florida.

The meetings have gone well for us in Kentucky, North Carolina, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota. God’s people are being challenged, through the preaching and teaching of His Word, to give their life to Christ totally.

Lord willing, on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, I am scheduled to fly back to Peoria, Illinois. On my arrival to Illinois, I will be driving to North Powder, Oregon. Pray that Debbie be well enough to travel with me full-time soon.

The Wednesday night meeting went well with Pastor Mark Poorman at Woodcrest Baptist Church in Fridley, Minnesota. We praise the LORD for the working of the Holy Spirit in God’s people during the service.

A believer at Bancroft Baptist Church gave me this quote before one of the evening services in Bancroft, Wisconsin. Which said, “If you keep sending away every person who challenges you, you’ll never grow. Some people are in your life to sharpen you.” A-men! She was not greatly offended at the messages being preached. Praise the LORD!

Debbie is still having health problems. She is struggling for strength for each day. She continues her battle with the rash that just won’t go away. Your continued prayers for her would be greatly appreciated.

We are ever thankful for God’s goodness, great mercy and great grace.

Our all-day Sunday meetingwell with Pastor William Metzger at Open Door Baptist Church in Baraboo, Wisconsin. We did not have any people make a profession of faith in Jesus Christ, however, God’s people made decisions to have a closer walkthe Lord.

It is a tremendous privilege to see God’s hand at work in our meetings., thank you for praying because it is needed and it is very much appreciated.

Please be in prayer that God will continue to work in the hearts of His people through the preaching of the Word of God and that many souls will be saved so that they could in turn serve God and glorify Him thereby.

We trust that this Ministry Newsletter finds each of you growing in your faith and trusting God’s sovereignty despitethe uncertainties our country and world is facing. As we continue to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, we find that His faithfulness in overwhelming present in every situation!

Please pray withto find ways to make contacts and build relationships with new Fundamental Baptist Churches. We have openings which we would like to fill. We are praying for you that God will give you an exciting year of spiritual fruit and numeric growth.

We very much appreciate the privilege of being a part of our home church at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. Thank you also for your love, and faithful support. We are especially grateful for your prayers for us.

In Psalm 27:13, the Bible says, “I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.”

God is doing a magnificent work with His people in the meetings. God’s people are making life-changing decisions.

The Psalmist goes onto say in verse 14, “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.” We are waiting patiently for the Lord to restore Debbie’s strength and health. We continue to covet your prayers on her behalf.

Again, thank you for your special gifts and cards.

By God’s grace,

Norman and Debbie Stevens
