Dear
Christian Friends,

Debbie and I would like to say thank you so very much for your
love, faithful prayers, and financial support this past year. You were a great
help to us, and we praise the Lord for you. By giving to our ministry, you
have made it possible for us to share the death, burial, and resurrection of
our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ with those that know Him not, and share the
Word of God with God's people that need to grow in Christ and live for the
Lord.
It is a joy for
us to share with you what the Lord is doing and what He allows us to do for
Him in our ministry. Souls are being saved and our Brothers and Sisters in
Christ are making life-changing decisions for the Lord.
PASTOR'S COMMENTS
Brother Norman,
Thank
you so much for your encouragement, personally, and for the love and care that
you showed to our people. We are so blessed to have you come and spend time,
and preach hard to us year after year. That preaching and teaching laid a
sound foundation in the lives of our folks for godly, holy lives."
Dear Bro. Stevens,
"We had a number of great testimonies in the Sunday Evening
Service after you were with us. It was great to hear how the Lord had worked
thru the messages from the Word which you presented. Thanks for your strong
Biblical messages, and concern for the people. God Bless you in your
ministry."
We are ever thankful for the goodness and mercy of God. We have
been blessed by the love expressed to us by God's people. We have enjoyed the
good food and sweet fellowship with all of them. It is always good to be with
God's people who treat you like family, and we want to thank all those who
make us feel right at home and welcomed. Our financial needs are being met
through God's people who have taken such good care of us for all of which we
praise the Lord! God provides our every need in His timing and according to
His will.
Our meetings are going well, and we are having good attendance
and many decisions. So, please pray with us that the many decisions by God's
people to renew their efforts to reach the lost at our meetings will be true
and lasting.
We would appreciate your continued prayers for safety in our
travels and that we may stay true and steadfast in the things of God. Please
pray also for the Word of God to bear fruit in the lives of those who hear.
What a great God
we serve! As we look forward to 2010, our prayer is that God would do even
more in our ministry than He did in the previous year. With this in
mind, please be in prayer with us that God will continue to work in the hearts
of His people through the preaching of His Word and that many souls will be
saved so that they could in turn serve Him and glorify Him thereby.
We have already
scheduled 20 different meetings in the year 2010. Nineteen of which are going
to be four-days or longer. These meetings are scheduled in North Carolina,
Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Washington, Oregon, West Virginia, Wisconsin,
and Pennsylvania. Therefore, we look forward to the future blessings that God
has for us next year.
Norman is going
to have surgery on his right knee to repair a complex tear on the posterior
horn of the medial meniscus on Monday, December 21, 2009. Please pray with us
for a quick recovery. Thanks!
We have had a
change in our ministry in consideration of Debbie's health needs that we would
like you to know about. Debbie has stopped traveling with me because she could
not take care of her health needs properly when she did. Even though it is
nice for us to be able to travel and minister together, it is difficult to
take care of her health when we are on the road. We will let you know if this
will change. We have prayed about this and believe this is best for Debbie
right now. So please pray with us that the Lord will continue to give her
grace and strength for each day.
It is our hope
that you are encouraged to hear how God is using this ministry. We thank you
again for your faithfulness to give of your time in praying for us and your
financial support is very much appreciated. By giving, you are sharing in the
fruits of this ministry, making God's work possible. And we are truly grateful
for all the Lord has made possible through you.
Debbie and I want
to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
It is our prayer
that you keep on faithfully serving the Lord, and we love you and thank God
for you.
May our God bless
you with much fruit for your labors throughout 2010!
His
servants,
Norman & Debbie Stevens
