Ministry Newsletter
Dear Christian Friends,

Thank you for praying for us. Your faithfulness to us through your prayer and
financial support has been a true blessing. We thank the Lord for His daily
provision and care.
It is a tremendous privilege to see God's hand at work in our meetings. Our
meetings are going well. We are having good attendance and many decisions. God's
people are being encouraged through the preaching of His Word. We see God's
people change their mind about their sin. We have seen God's people encouraged
to return to walking closer with the Lord. We are praying with some about other
decisions.
Please pray that this would be the year
for a sweeping revival among God's people that would bring honour and glory to
Christ.
The meetings went well with Pastor
Alan Lehman at Mountain View Baptist Church in Colbert, Washington. We were able
to share the gospel message with the lost, as well as give words of
encouragement to God's people.
We enjoy serving the Lord in our
personal lives and ministry, and desire your prayers that we might be found
faithful in giving forth the gospel message, and that we might see many come to
know the Lord as their personal Saviour in the days ahead. We praise God for the
privilege of reaching souls for Christ.
Our all-day Sunday meeting went well
with Pastor Greg Boyle at Faith Baptist Church in Spokane, Washington. A
grandmother and her granddaughter received the Lord as their personal Saviour
after the morning service. God's people have responded well, and the pastor is
greatly encouraged.
This past August, we started our ninth
year in the ministry of evangelism. Although the Lord has blessed in many ways
since we started, we are looking forward to seeing our Lord work in the lives of
His people even more this year as well as seeing many more souls saved.
The folks at Pioneer Baptist Church
responded to God's Word during the Wednesday night meeting with Pastor Fred
Fowler in Asotin, Washington. I had a great time with God's people. The pastor
was greatly encouraged.
God's people were blessed by the Word of God being preached during the Thursday
night meeting with Pastor Bill Anker at Independent Baptist Church in Spokane
Valley, Washington.
I was with Pastor Fred Durgin at Mid State Baptist Church in Paso Robles,
California, on Sunday, June 5, 2005. I had a great time as we worshiped the Lord
together. The Lord gave me great liberty to preach His Word. God's people were
encouraged by it.
It would be helpful and less costly to
us, if we could e-mail our Ministry Newsletter to you. If that would be
convenient for you, please send your e-mail address to us. Thanks!
Our Teen Retreat went well with Pastor
Melito Berrara at Victory Ranch in Moreno Valley, California. The teens
responded well to the preaching of God's Word. On Thursday, we had two teens
receive Christ as their Saviour. We had a great time around the campfire on
Friday night. We had a young lady and three young men come forward during the
invitation to receive Christ as their Saviour. On Saturday, we had three young
men come forward during the invitation to receive Christ as their Saviour.
Praise God!
Thank you for praying for Debbie because
of her appendectomy. She seems to be making better physical progress. She is
under doctor's care in Florida and will be until he feels that she is well
enough to travel. Currently, as far as the doctor can tell, she is rid of the
infection. The doctor is waiting to see if it will come back. Please continue to
pray for healing and full recovery. We are ever thankful for God's goodness and
mercy.
Our all-day Sunday meetings went well
with Pastor Schell Smith at Victory Baptist Church in Atwater, California. God's
people responded well to the preaching of His Word. As a result of the meetings, two young ladies received the Lord as their
personal Saviour.
The Wednesday night meeting went well with Pastor Ron Allen at Calvary Baptist
Church in San Francisco, California. Several of God's people came up to me after
the service and told me they were encouraged by the preaching of God's Word.
The Wednesday night meeting went well with Pastor Jonathan Bixby at First
Baptist Church in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. God's people responded well to
the preaching of His Word.
The all-day Sunday meetings went well with Pastor Clyde Ewers at Ambassador
Baptist Church in Sparta, Wisconsin. On Tuesday, we started Teen Camp at the
church and went through Friday, July 29, 2005. After the preaching of God's
Word, we had three young people come forward to receive Christ as their Saviour.
Once again, we are so thankful for your
financial gifts and for your prayer support which is very much appreciated.
Please pray that God will open the hearts of His people during the meetings.
We hope you are encouraged to hear how
God is using this ministry. We pray that God would continue to bless you as we
serve Him together.
His servants,
Norman & Debbie Stevens
