Thank you so very much for your intercessory prayers. We thank God
for you and pray He is blessing you. We count it a privilege to
share this news with you. The Lord has been blessing us this year
in the ministry. God has given us wonderful meetings. We have been
able to see souls saved and many of God’s people surrender their
lives completely to Jesus Christ.
We began January with meetings with Pastor John Hankins at
Independent Baptist Church in Sebring, Florida. We ended on
Friday, January 10, 2003. We had a good attendance by many being
faithful to all the services. God’s people made decisions. No one
came forward during the invitation to receive the Lord as his or
her Saviour but we did have one get saved during church
visitation.
Our Sunday night meeting went well with Pastor Glendy Hamilton at
Harvest Baptist Church in Orlando, Florida. On the way to the
meeting our motor home had two flat tires. By the time we got to
Orlando, we had less than 45 minutes to get ready for the evening
service. God’s people responded well to the preaching of His Word.
Our all-day Sunday meetings and Wednesday night meeting with
Pastor Richard Schermerhorn went well at Faith Baptist Church in
Margate, Florida. God’s people responded well to the preaching of
His Word. The church voted to take us on as their missionary
evangelist at $75.00 a month. Before we left they gave us $900.00
up front that represented a full year support.
It is our prayer that you will enjoy God’s rich blessings on your
life, your family, and your service for Christ throughout 2003!
We held an all-day Sunday meeting with Pastor Tom Suggs at Vaughn
Street Bible Church in Gibsonton, Florida. We had a nine-year-old
boy receive Christ as his own personal Saviour after the service.
Debbie and I were greatly encouraged by his decision as well as by
the response of God’s people making life-changing decisions during
the meetings.
We have the passports that we needed to travel to Chile, South
America, in November of 2003. We will be there for eleven days
holding meetings with Pastor Tom Robertson and his family. It is
our hope to be a blessing to these dear folks. Lord willing, we
will be leaving the United States on Monday, November 3, 2003,
flying to Chile. Please pray as we seek to get our plane tickets,
and make all the necessary arrangements for this trip. Thank you!
We held a week of meetings with Pastor Tim Daniel at New Testament
Baptist Church in Kinston, North Carolina. God’s people made
life-changing decisions during the week. As a result of the
meetings two ladies received the Lord as their personal Saviour.
The church gave us a great love offering as well as $1,000.00 to
purchase a new laptop computer.
God’s people were encouraged by the week of meetings with Pastor
Fred Daniel at Brookhaven Baptist Church in Greensboro, North
Carolina. One young man by the name of Harley received Christ as
his Saviour.
We were with Pastor William McNeely at Tanton Memorial Baptist
Church in Pensacola, Florida. We had a young man by the name of
Zack respond to the gospel by receiving Christ as his personal
Saviour on Sunday morning. God’s people responded to the preaching
of God’s Word.
Please pray that we will have safety on the road as we travel from
church to church, good fellowship, but most of all, that we will
see souls saved, and that we will be a blessing to the pastors and
God’s people.
The all-day Sunday meetings went well with Pastor Scott Jones at
Wild Rose Baptist Church in Wild Rose, Wisconsin. We had a great
time with God’s people.
God's people were blessed by the Word of God being preached during
the Wednesday night meeting with Pastor Mark Wagenschutz at Twin
Ports Baptist Church in Superior, Wisconsin.
Pastor Randy Prahl was encouraged at the results of our meetings
at Berlin Baptist Church in Berlin, Wisconsin. God's people made
life-changing decisions.
The meetings went well at the Men’s Retreat at Camp Joy with
Pastor Charles Hatchett in Whitewater, Wisconsin.
We had a great time as we worshiped the Lord together with Pastor
Matthew DeCleene at Twin City Baptist Church in Marinette,
Wisconsin.
Please pray for our meetings and ask God to give safety in travel
and to bless His Word and work during those meetings. Pray for
souls to be saved and for God to work in the hearts of His people.
The folks at Deerwood Baptist Church responded to God’s Word
during the meetings with Pastor Wayne Skog in Deerwood, Minnesota.
We had to cancel the Wednesday night service because of weather.
Debbie is still having back pain. However, she is able to travel
fulltime for which we praise the Lord!
