Dear Christian Friends,
Thank you for your
prayers and financial support. Things are going well. We have been blessed
with some wonderful meetings and good fellowship.
We love you and
count it a privilege to share this update with you as we serve together for
Christ's cause.
Since our last
Ministry Newsletter, the Lord had many special blessings for us among the
churches and dear friends with whom we visited and ministered. God has been
working in the lives of His people during our meetings. We are seeing folks
saved and God’s people making life-changing decisions.
Our Sunday morning
meeting on January 15, 2006, went well with Pastor John Monroe at Providence
Baptist Church in Riverview, Florida. God's people were encouraged.
Our Sunday night
meeting on January 15, 2006, went well with Pastor Erwin Lawson at Freedom
Baptist Church in Plant City, Florida. God's people responded well to the
preaching of His Word.
We were with Pastor
Bill Gorman at Faith Baptist Church in Margate, Florida, on Wednesday, January
18, 2006. We had a great time as we worshiped the Lord together.
We had an all-day
Sunday meeting on January 22, 2006, with Pastor Berry Davis at Vaughn Street
Bible Church in Gibsonton, Florida. We visited with the pastor and his family
and had good food and sweet fellowship with them.
Our hearts were
ministered to during our recent trip to Ambassador Baptist College. What a joy
it was to see friends again and hear of the wonderful works the Lord is doing in
their lives!
We praise the Lord
for the wonderful services we had with Pastor Andy Stevens at Manna Baptist
Church in Shelby, North Carolina. There is no doubt that God met with us.
The Sunday night
meeting went will with Pastor Ron Jarvis at Trinity Baptist Church in Bradenton,
Florida. God's people responded well to a message on living for Jesus.
We held a week of
meetings with Pastor James Haught at Trinity Church in Shepardsville, Indiana.
God's people made life-changing decisions during the week. One 84-yeat-old man
by the name of Bill received Christ as his Saviour.
The preaching of
God's Word encouraged Pastor Wayne Skog and the folks at Deerwood Baptist Church
in Deerwood, Minnesota. No one came forward to be saved that we know of, but
God's people responded well to the messages preached each night. The attendance
kept growing each service. God did a marvelous work among His people. We look
forward to being back with these folks in the future.
Please pray for our
meetings and ask God to give safety in travel and to bless His Word and work
during those meetings. Pray for souls to be saved and for God to work in the
hearts of His people.
The meetings went
well with Pastor Jim Saint Marie at Pine River Baptist Church in Pine River,
Minnesota. We had a great time with God's people. They were faithful and
responded well to the preaching of God's Word.
Our week of meetings
went well with Pastor Dave Rogers at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Willmar,
Minnesota. The attendance kept growing each service. God's people made
life-changing decisions. We had one young man by the name of Adam come forward
during the week for salvation.
We had a four-day
meeting with Pastor James Snow at First Baptist Church in Saint Francis,
Minnesota. Though no professions of faith in Christ were made, we had several
of God's people make life-changing decisions.
Our meetings went
well with Pastor David Sorenson at Northstar Baptist Church in Duluth,
Minnesota. The preaching of the Word of God encouraged the folks. God's people
responded well to all the messages.
Our all-day Sunday
meeting went well with Pastor Fred Fowler at Pioneer Baptist Church in Asotin,
Washington. God's people were blessed and encouraged by the preaching of His
Word.
We had a great time
with Pastor Gil Hansen and God's people at Mount View Baptist Temple in
Tualatin, Oregon. They were happy to have us there to worship the Lord
together. When the Word of God was preached, we were blessed and challenged by
it.
It is our prayer
that you will enjoy God's rich blessings on your service for the Lord Jesus
Christ throughout the year.
His
servants,
Norman & Debbie Stevens
