Dear Christian Friends,

We certainly cannot thank you enough for your prayer and financial support. It has been such a

We truly appreciate your prayers, love, financial support, and thoughts of love towards us. You are a blessing to us. It is our prayer that you have a wonderful day filled with much love and laughter as you practice God's presence.

Debbie is doing a little better. She is working on exercising more consistently which helps with her pain levels most the time. Sometimes it has the opposite effect if she overdoes it or moves the wrong way. However, overall it is helping. She is still struggling with her memory or as she puts it, "my mind just isn't working right." It is not a major problem, but more of an irritating problem for her. We thank everyone who is praying for her. Currently she is staying in our motor home at Providence Baptist Church in Riverview, Florida.

The meetings went well with Pastor Kevin Senn at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. The meetings were well-attended, and God's people were faithful and responded well to the preaching of His Word.

Norman's right knee is still giving him problems. It is our hope and prayer that it will get better over time.

In July, we are looking forward to Family Camp at our home church in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. We enjoy getting to know the new folks at church as well as renew old friendships.

The meetings went well with Pastor Wesley Agee at Grace Baptist Church in Gaston, North Carolina. God's people responded well, and the pastor is greatly encouraged. When the Word of God was preached, they were blessed and challenged by it.

Believer's Comments

Hello Brother,

"I feel that our church was extremely blessed, and myself in particular, by your time with us this week. Your obvious love of God and the enthusiasm you bring to the Christian life should be an inspiration to all who have the opportunity to see and hear you. Thank you for your willingness to share these things with others."

Dear Norman Stevens,

"Just wanted to drop you a line and say thank you for the messages. Your messages were very challenging to me and my family. I was deeply challenged on what you said about not expecting to get your prayers answered when you're not right with God. I also wanted to back you up about credit cards. My wife and I cut up our card [Visa-god] about 2 years ago. We made all our payments on time and often paid the whole card off every payment. We felt the Lord wanted us to get rid of it and we did. It is one of the best decisions we ever made. We've learned it is best to let God provide the money first, rather than spend first and then wait for God to provide. Thank you for your convicting messages and your stand for God and His Word. I enjoy your sense of humor too! You truly are loved here by all. We are looking forward to your next visit."

Pastor's Comments

Brother Norman,

"Just a quick note to say thanks for all you did while ministering to our church and me!!! What a thrill to hear the well-prepared sermons, to see your heart for our people and to have you serve in so many ways. I know each of the young couples was overjoyed with the time you gave them each individually.

I am sure that eternity will show this meeting to be one the most profitable moments in our church!

Thanks again for your friendship!"

Brother Stevens,

"Thanks so much for your ministry this last week.  Many good decisions were made for the Lord. I received some really good comments at the jail too."

Dear Brother Stevens,

"Thank you for the Spirit-filled meetings. The preaching was exceptional and very much needed.

Members and visitors still continue to talk about the impact the meetings had on them. I was also personally encouraged and challenged by the Word of God and the fellowship we shared with one another.

Praise the Lord for working in the hearts of His people during these meetings."

Our week of meetings went very well with Pastor Fred Daniel at Brookhaven Baptist Church in Greensboro, North Carolina. God's people were blessed and challenged by the messages from God's Word.

The meetings went well with Pastor Elmer Cox at the First Baptist Church in Morris, Minnesota. He called me this afternoon and told me that they experienced true revival at their church this week. The pastor was so excited in what had taken place during the meetings. Praise the LORD! One young man came forward to be saved, and two young people came forward to rededicate their lives to God.

Please be in prayer with us that God will continue to work in the hearts of His people through the preaching of the Word of God and that many souls will be saved. Thanks!

Our four-day series of meetings went well with Pastor Wayne Skog at Deerwood Baptist Church in Deerwood, Minnesota. We thank the Lord for the spiritual decisions that were made by several of God's people during the meetings.

What a blessing it was to be with Pastor Richard Jensen at Oakdale Baptist Church in Oakdale, Minnesota. The meetings were well-attended by church members, and it was a joy for me to challenge them from God's Word. The pastor saw a need and worked out the details to provide, at no cost to me, two suits, a shirt and several ties that were much needed. Thank you again to the church family for the kindness and provision while I was with you folks.

I was with Pastor David Rogers at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Willmar, Minnesota. The response of God's people to the preaching of His Word was encouraging. I was able to spend quality time with the pastor, his wife, and their son.

We had good meetings with Pastor Colson Leach at Faith Baptist Church in Port Washington, Wisconsin. God's people were encouraged by our ministry. Many, if not all, made decisions during the week. One man by the name of Bob received Christ as his Saviour.

I had a good time with Pastor Jim St Marie and God's people at Pine River Baptist Church in Pine River, Minnesota. Life-changing decisions were made during the weed; and when the Word of God was preached, they were blessed. We had one come forward to receive Christ as their Saviour. Praise the LORD!

Again, thank you for your prayers, love, and financial support.

His servants,
Norman and Debbie Stevens
