Dear
Christian Friends,

What an exciting year 2006 was in every way! God has been and is working in the
hearts and lives of His people. As we look forward to 2007, our prayer is that
God would do even more in our ministry than He did in the previous year.
What a blessing it was to be with Pastor Chris Leppert at First Baptist Church
in Seymour, Wisconsin! It was our first time in their church. It was a joy for
me to challenge them from God's Word. The pastor's wife, Lisa, saw Debbie's need for glasses and worked out the details to provide,
at no cost to us, an exam and glasses that were much needed. Thank you again to
the Leppert family for the kindness and provision while we were with you folks.
What a great God we have! He provides our every need in his timing and
according to his will. Many times this year we were not sure how we were going
to get from one place to the next and God showed Himself mightily. Through
God's people, he provided glasses and dental work free of charge to us. We are
grateful for the brothers and sisters in Christ who have taken such good care of
us.
We had a five-day meeting with Pastor Lance Ketchum at Shepherd's Fold Baptist
Church in Hutchinson, Minnesota. We visited with God's people and had good food
and sweet fellowship with them. God's people made life-changing decisions during
the week. One young girl by the name of April received Christ as her Saviour.
We met a dentist in the church in Hutchinson, Minnesota,
who offered to clean our teeth while we were there. He x-rayed, cleaned, fixed
a filling, and took care of a couple cavities for us; then, on top of that, he
told us that he would like to be our dentist; and all for free whenever we are
in the area. Praise the Lord, and thank you,
Brother Carlson!
The meetings were a success with Pastor Ray Anderson at Lone Rock Baptist Church
in New Lisbon, Wisconsin. It turned out to be a wonderful week of fellowship and
a time of encouragement for those dear folks and their pastor.
The
meetings were well-attended
with Pastor Lauren Bjokne at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Cottage Grove,
Wisconsin. God's people made good decisions during the week. We were blessed by
the love expressed to us by God's people.
We praise
the Lord for the wonderful services we had with Pastor Colson Leach at Faith
Baptist Church in Port Washington, Wisconsin. God did a marvelous work among His
people. We look forward to being back with these dear folks in 2008.
It is
always good to be with folks who treat you like family. Many of the churches we
go to are that way. God seems to send us where the heart of the church folk and
us are the same. Thank you to all those who make us feel right at home and
welcomed; it is a blessing.
We are
happy to say that the meetings went well with Pastor Richard Jensen at Oakdale
First Baptist Church in Oakdale, Minnesota. God's people responded to God's
Word being preached to them. They came forward during the invitation and made
life-changing decisions.
Our
meetings were well-attended
with Pastor Paul Stephens at Victory Baptist Church in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. One
young girl by the name of Kayla made the decision to obey God and follow the
Lord in believer's baptism. Other decisions also were made by God's people for
whom we praise the Lord! The pastor scheduled us to come back to Victory Baptist
Church in 2008.
Please pray for our meetings and ask God to bless His Word and
work in the hearts of His people during those meetings. Pray for souls to be
saved.
Our
meetings went well with Pastor Roland Mills at Shalom Baptist Church in
Lockport, New York. God's people were encouraged and made life-changing
decisions. What a blessing these folks were to us! The meetings were well-attended
even after the first snow storm blew through leaving many people without power
for the week. The love for God and the eagerness to serve was very evident in
these folks.
God's
people were encouraged by the Word of God being preached during the all-day
Sunday meetings with Pastor Todd Falk at Wilton Baptist Church in Wilton, New
York.
The Sunday
evening meeting went well with Pastor Gil Tartaglino at Lighthouse Baptist
Church in Waterbury, Connecticut. God's people responded well to our ministry.
We had good
meetings with Pastor Nick Vance at Grace Bible Church in Dothan, Alabama. God's
people were encouraged by our ministry. Many, if not all, made decisions during
the week. Debbie enjoyed working in the nursery all week and getting to know the
ladies throughout the week.
We had a
great time visiting with two of our brothers and their families in Virginia
during Thanksgiving.
Debbie and I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy
New Year!
His
servants,
Norman and Debbie Stevens
